Kalemegdan, part 1 of many...

Kalemegdan is a huge park in Stari Grad, Belgrade. It is full of sights, paths, market stalls, crows, pigeons, laughing children, kissing couples, etc etc etc... I even spotted an old lady sneaking in a pee behind an electrical box. I looked away hastily, wondering what I had in my bag with which to wash my eyes. There was an awkward moment as she walked past me afterwards, because I don't think she had realized I was sitting nearby. Oh well, she had relieved herself, and I was relieved that she had buggered off. Apart from the outdoor bathroom antics of a pensioner, the park was wonderful...

A hungry crow, pecking in the snow for a piece of something that resembled a discarded piece of chewing gum. Eew. I hope it was something a little more savory for the crow's sake. But still, he posed for me, I snapped some pics, and we went our separate ways.

Unfortunately this one is out of focus, but I was impressed I managed to snap it! I literally lifted my camera the moment it took off, pulled focus and snapped before the camera was even properly at my eye. Shooting blind win! :D

Such a sad pic. This was at almost full zoom through my 300mm lens, so I framed it accordingly. This man was simply taking a stroll, and even appeared to have a slight spring in his step :P
